But do they live up to the hype, and what’s their true value for everyone from the Olympic hopeful to the person wanting to get a bit fitter?

For elite athletes, this allows micro-adjustments to training plans for optimal gains. - Training Load and Injury Prevention: Overtraining is a real risk, especially for the highly motivated. Wearables help track training load –a combination of intensity and duration.
